The elections for the Student Parliament of Tallinn University of Technology are just around the corner. This is your chance to make student life better and become part of the highest decision-making body representing TalTech students. 

What Is the Student Parliament ?

The Student Parliament is one of the most important bodies of the Student Union. At its monthly meetings, decisions are made that help guide TalTech student life, the quality of education, and overall student well-being toward continuous improvement.  

The TalTech Student Parliament consists of 15 members, representing students from all faculties. Each faculty is guaranteed at least one mandate, while the remaining 10 mandates are distributed according to the number of students in each.

Your Voice Matters  

As a member of the Student Parliament, you can make decisions and shape positions that affect all TalTech students. You will have a say in matters such as the student union’s budget and action plan, and you will elect members to various decision-making bodies and to the board of Student Union.

By discussing and analyzing the topics in agenda, you will develop your self-expression and analytical skills.

How to Apply?

1. Fill in the application form – you can find the form and more information at  https://taltech.ee/tudengielu/esinduskogu  

2. Digitally sign the application and add a portrait photo of yourself.  

3. Download a certificate confirming your enrollment in degree studies from the Estonian Education Information System:  https://haridusportaal.edu.ee/minu-andmed/õpingud  

4. Send the application, portrait photo, and certificate of enrollment by email to  ek_valimised@tipikas.ee  

The deadline for submitting applications is February 11, so don’t miss this opportunity!

On February 10 at 6:00 PM, a regular meeting of the Student Parliament will take place in rooms U01-227 and U01-228. There you can learn more about what it means to be a member of the Parliament. After the meeting, you will have the opportunity to talk with current Parliament members and get answers to all your questions.
